Art Work Restoration
With Care
Preserving cultural heritage through advanced chemical analysis and traditional artistry. We breathe life back into the masterpieces of yesterday.
Since 1988
The delicate balance of science and soul.
At AnimeDesign, we view ourselves as ghosts in the studio. Our intervention is designed to be invisible, stabilizing the physical form of an artwork while respecting the original strokes of the master.
From the Sistine Chapel’s chemical nuances to the mineral pigments of Edo-period Japan, our experts travel globally to ensure that history does not fade into the shadows.

Technique 01
Fiber Re-weaving
We source historical silk and wool to match the exact tensile strength of 17th-century tapestries. Using microscopic needles, our weavers bridge gaps in time, knot by knot.
Technique 02
Chromo-Analysis
Before a single drop of solvent touches a painting, we perform a complete chemical map. This prevents irreversible damage to original glazes and helps us recreate authentic pigments.
"AnimeDesign's ability to stabilize our medieval collection saved decades of history."

Mastery
Phase I: Forensic Evidence
We begin every project with a full forensic audit. Using X-Ray and Carbon dating where necessary, we identify the exact era and chemical composition of the artwork's foundation.
Phase II: Stabilization
Before beauty comes strength. We treat wood rot, metal oxidation, and canvas brittleness using state-of-the-art climate-controlled chambers and reversible adhesives.
Phase III: Re-Integration
Our artists meticulously fill losses using 'tratteggio'—a system of vertical lines that match the color from a distance but are clearly visible as restoration upon close inspection, adhering to ethical standards.
